Courtney Barnett's first song off her last album, "Tell Me How You Really Feel," seems to bear strong similarities to "American Flag" by Cat Power.

Cat Power is famous for having played "Sea of Love" in her 2000 album called "The Covers Record".

The impact of Cat Power's sound as exemplified by Moon Pix's "Cross Bones Style" on the indie/alternative music of Warpaint is apparent. Their debut EP, "Exquisite Corpse," appears to draw heavily from this sound, as hear in the song "Billie Holiday".

"Stay" is one of Cat Power's covers from "Wanderer". It is notable as the most recently released song to be covered by Cat Power.
